Tree in Israel!

I just got a surprise phone call from a member of my congregation. My shul is planting a tree in honor of my conversion in Israel! How cool is that? It is a new part of the outreach program to welcome JBCs into the Jewish community. Totally unnecessary, but really quite touching. Maybe I can visit my tree when I go to Israel in March? Okay, probably not, but I can pretend some sapling I meet is my tree and take a picture and tell you all it is my tree and you will never know the difference, will you?
